Welcome to the L-Rex demo study "acceptability rating study"

This demo study illustrates a short acceptability rating study.

Let's assume that the research question is: which word order is preferred with particle verbs – "...picked the book up..." or "...picked up the book..."?

This demo illustrates the following L-Rex features:

• Latin-square distribution of the critical items: each participant will see the sentences in one of the different word orders.
• The study additionally contains four other sentences serving as filler items/distractors.
• The stimuli are presented in pseudo-randomized order: critical items never directly follow each other.

For the purpose of illustration, you will see which item/condition is currently being presented in this demo study. Usually, this would not be visible to the participants.
